Adarsh Kumar is a data engineer at COSMOS, where he contributes to data pipeline development and full-stack application development. He recently earned his Master of Science in Information Systems from Northwest Missouri State University. With experience spanning frontend, backend, and cloud technologies, he is passionate about building scalable end-to-end systems that turn raw data into meaningful insights.
Vida is a Master’s student in Information Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Currently, she serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at COSMOS , where she assists with social media analysis to understand cyber behaviors by generating and evaluating hypotheses, as well as collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing research data.
Integrating her background in the social sciences, Vida applies a human-centric perspective to technical data challenges. At COSMOS, she is also responsible for producing digital sketches of UI models based on business requirements and developing web pages from those designs. She implements front-end functionality and creates visual and written content for various websites and social media platforms. Her expertise serves to bridge the gap between technical data analysis and clear research communication.
Arunachalam Barathidasan is a software engineer focused on AI systems, data engineering, and distributed application design. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Previously, he was a security infrastructure engineer at Valeo and has a deep passion for entrepreneurship. He has cofounded two startups – TriZ AI and Learnchain. His work centers on building high-performance data pipelines, agent-based systems, and scalable backend architectures, with experience spanning cloud-native infrastructure, observability, and full-stack application development. He has developed Websites, ETL pipelines, low-latency AI observability platforms, and vision-driven autonomous agents with an emphasis on system reliability, performance optimization, and traceability. At COSMOS, he is interested in applying data-intensive and AI-driven approaches to analyze complex social and networked systems, contributing to impactful research at the intersection of data engineering and real-world problems. His hobbies include playing soccer, video games, and being a tech enthusiast.
Sanket Bhangale is a curious and forward-thinking technologist driven by a deep interest in intelligent systems and how complex ideas translate into real-world impact. He approaches problems with a builder’s mindset, thoughtful, analytical, and always focused on creating things that are scalable and meaningful. With a strong inclination toward innovation and long-term vision, he is particularly drawn to the evolving space of autonomous and AI-driven technologies. Beyond his professional pursuits, he values continuous learning, exploring new ideas, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle that fuels both creativity and discipline.
Pranavi Addagatla holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University. She previously worked as a Software Engineer at Accenture Solutions, where she focused on optimizing application performance, enhancing system scalability, developing APIs, and implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery. Toward the end of her Master’s program, she collaborated with a startup, Project Human City, assisting them in hosting their applications on the cloud and containerizing their services using Docker.
Sai Rahul Kankipati is a Data Engineer at COSMOS. He did his masters at ASU where he researched on devloping models to create python code for physical design tasks. Previously, he worked as a Data Scientist at Smart Energy Water, where he contributed to research projects such as non-intrusive load monitoring and energy disaggregation, developing deep learning models to dis-aggregate appliance electricity usage.
Hadi Rashid is the Systems Administrator at COSMOS research center as well as the Emerging Analytics Center (EAC). His main focus is in automated configuration of pools of computing, storage, and networking resources to build an OpenStack-based cloud and a high-performance computing (HPC) platform in the UA Little Rock EIT’s data-center facility. Previously, Hadi worked as a lecturer and Cisco Networking Academy manager and instructor at the University of Duhok, Iraq. He received an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Duhok (2009) and a BSc in Computer Science (2003) from the University of Mosul, Iraq.
Ahmed Al-Taweel is a Ph.D. postdoctoral research fellow at the COSMOS research center after completing his Ph.D. in applied mathematics at UA Little Rock with a research interest in numerical analysis and scientific computing. He received an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences from the UA Little Rock (2020).In COSMOS, he works with the research team in developing mathematical models of socio-technical behaviors on a variety of social media platforms. Currently he is working on Narrative analysis project.
Kongala Chinni Krishna is a Master’s student pursuing a degree in Information Quality at University of Arkansas at Little Rock and also working on ETL pipeline in COSMOS. He completed his bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication as his Major. He worked as a software developer for 1 year in Multi-National Company, as a developer. He is passionate to code and enthusiastic to learn new skills.
Deepika graduated with a Master’s in Information Science at UA Little Rock. She has worked at COSMOS as a UI/UX Designer- Graduate Research Assistant. She is familiar with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.
