Teams and Bio Pages

COSMOS team members are added to the website with the help of the Team Members PRO plugin. To edit or add members, click on the Teams tab located on the left of the dashboard toolbar.  On the next screen, select the team you would like to edit.

Adding New Member

To add a new member, select the team that the new member will be added to.  Scroll down to the bottom and select the button ‘+ Add a member’.

On the next screen, add information about the team member.

To add the bio, click on the Edit biography button. A new screen will be displayed allowing you to add a bio to the profile.

After any changes/additions have been made to the biography, click on Update.  This will save any modifications.

Static Profile Pages

Most of our Cosmographers’ profiles feature a link entitled Read more.  This link is connected to a static page with detailed information about the team member.

To add a static page, hover over the Pages option in the dashboard toolbar and select Add New from the menu to create a new page from scratch or select All Pages to copy an existing page.  To do so, select the Clone link under an existing profile page.

Once a static profile page has been created, go back to the Cosmographer’s listing in Team Members PRO, edit the biography, add the text Read more. Select the text, click on the hyperlink icon in the editor, type in the name of the page, click on the arrow icon (Apply), then on Update

You will now see the main page for the team you have selected previously.  Click on the Update button on the right side to save all changes.

Note:

  • All students are listed in alphabetical order – sorted by their last name.
  • If any students are no longer part of COSMOS, create a new profile for them under Alumni and delete their old profile from the active team (doctoral, graduate or undergraduate students).
